At the age of two, my mom handed me a crayon and I started drawing. Fifty years later and I’m still at it. Along the way I have been influenced by star wars, comics, teachers, skateboards, bicycles, coffee, art, and anything else my eyes can absorb. Consequently it's rare that I stick to one medium and often employ several while working on a single piece. Anything from sewing and fabrication to digital logo design and product technical illustrations.
Ideas formulate, an image is seen in my mind, and then I set about the finding the best way in which to convey it. Although painting comprises the majority of my work, I will often fabricate my own panels to bring the work to reality from nothing to something. The construction is part of the whole and influences where it goes. I love incorporating found objects, and even create replica movie props entirely out of thrifted or discarded items.
